The Salvation Army works tirelessly across Los Angeles to transform lives, responding to the practical needs of the unhoused community in West LA, but also investing in transforming lives through christ-centered rehabilitative and recovery programs across the city. These programs are funded through the Salvation Army's donation centers, which depend on donations from members of the community!

As you start Spring cleaning, please consider donating your clothes at our Clothing Drive on Sunday, 3/29 to support this mission!

Where

All clothing donations can be dropped off next to the Connect tent before each service on 3/29. We will stop collecting donations at noon, so if you forget your donation, come back any time before then!
You can pick up donation bags by the Connect tent on 3/15 and 3/22, or you can bring your donations in your own bags.

What You Can Donate

Please separate practical donations from all other clothing donations so we can ensure only practical donations are delivered to our outreach dinner guests! This can be done with a sharpie or tape to indicate 'OUTREACH'.

1. Practical men and women's clothing (In separated, mark bag)** - these items will be organized and handed out directly to the unhoused guests who come to our weekly outreach dinners! Items that would be particularly helpful this season include: 
   - new socks, new underwear
   - practical shoes
   - men's pants and shirts
   - women's pants and shirts
   
   
2. All other clothing donations that are less useful for individuals experiencing homelessness (business clothing, bathing suits, high heeled shoes, etc) should be separated into their own bag, which will be donated to the Donation Center to fund the Salvation Army's rehab programs.
